I would like to present Mindfulness Yoga for Schools program. This program is completely flexible and can be molded to fit within your school programs, objectives, space and budget. The sessions can include asanas which are exercises, pranayama which are breathing techniques, mindfulness, gratitude practice and meditation in the form of guided relaxation. Using techniques similar to Smiling Mind app. Mindfulness Yoga improves the connection between the breath, mind, body, community and self. Mindfulness practice gives children the opportunity and space to focus on thinking in the present moment guiding them to make thoughtful responses in a kind and optimistic way. Yoga encourages a fit & healthy lifestyle and promotes an overall sense of well-being.
This programs session options are endless. We can work together to find the best option for your school. e.g. A scheduled 45 minutes with each classroom each week or daily session after lunch or a regular yoga day which works through the classes or inclusion within the PE program or a program with interested teachers.

I have taught Yoga at Hobart schools and childcare centres; London schools, Michigan schools and Queensland schools. Experience in teaching Yoga to American Female Varsity Basketball team; Drug Rehabilitation Centre and my own Community Classes in London, Queensland, Michigan and Hobart. I have a Certificate IV Workplace Assessment and Training. I have a current Working With Vulnerable People Child Related Activity Card valid till 29 August 2019.
